Knott Votes to Condemn Socialism, Slams Democrats for Refusing to Do the Same

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brad Knott (NC-13) issued the following statement after voting for H.Res 1490, to condemn and denounce socialism in all its forms. No surprise: 194 House Democrats refused to condemn socialism and told the American people they stand squarely with the radical-left agenda. Socialism has no place in America.

"This shouldn’t be a hard vote to take. Every time socialism has been tried, it has failed miserably, and failed the people it claims to help,” said Congressman Knott. "House Democrats had a simple choice today, and the vast majority of them chose socialism. That's not leadership. That's surrender to the radical left."
