WASHINGTON D.C. – Yesterday, the Senate passed H.R. 10159, a bill Congressman Brad Knott (NC-13) led with Congressman Richard Hudson (NC-09) to transfer land facilitating the construction of a new state veterans' home in Harnett County. It passed the House on September 14, 2026 with broad bipartisan support and now heads to the President’s desk to be signed into law.
LILLINGTON, N.C. – Congressman Brad Knott (NC-13) hosted his second-annual Veterans Service Initiative Event in partnership with Harnett County, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and over 30 veterans-supporting vendors. The event was hosted at the Harnett County Library bringing together a wide variety of resources in one place to efficiently provide veterans the support they need.
