Knott Statement on Successful CR Vote

March 11, 2025
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Knott issued the following statement regarding the passage of H.R. 1968, the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act.
“Whether skyrocketing costs, unchecked immigration or tremendously wasteful spending, the list of problems facing our country is long. The President has made significant progress in reversing many of these problems in just a few weeks and has requested this C.R. to keep the Government open as we work towards Reconciliation in Congress, which will cut spending, provide tax relief for all Americans, bolster national defense and secure our borders,” Rep. Knott said. “While no one prefers a CR, I support the President’s agenda of undoing real harms facing our country and I will continue to work alongside his administration to achieve these goals.”
