First, thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. As the representative of North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District, serving the great people of Eastern North Carolina well is my top priority.
As NC-13’s representative, I’m committed to transparency and I look forward to using these updates to proactively share what I’m working on in D.C. Be on the lookout for future editions with snapshots on the most pressing issues relevant to you and highlights from my work in the district.
I am a lifelong North Carolinian with a big family that has called Eastern North Carolina home for generations. Before serving in Congress, I prosecuted organized crime as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in cases that touched every corner of the country. This work included cases involving drug cartels, human traffickers, financial crimes, national gangs and more. From this experience, I saw how harmful policies from the last administration handcuffed law enforcement and harmed communities all over the country. Simply put, we had to change course with urgency.
I am committed to securing the southern border, ending the flow of deadly drugs and crime into our communities and restoring the American Dream for future generations. I’m privileged to serve on the House Judiciary, Transportation & Infrastructure and Homeland Security committees where I can put the needs and interests of our district front and center in D.C.
Most importantly, my staff and I are here to both serve and advocate on your behalf. I’ll be sending out information regarding my district office locations and hours. Last month, we held mobile office hours in Johnston, Franklin and Harnett counties and will regularly visit every county in the 13th District.
