Title of Request: Community Trust and Officer Safety Technology Initiative
Proposed Recipient: Wilson’s Mills Police Department

Purpose: The Wilson's Mills Police Department will purchase twenty-five body-worn cameras. This would replace the outdated body cameras currently used the department, covering the 18 full-time officers and allowing for spares that be used for recharging.

Title of Request: Agriculture Crime Prevention and Rural Protection Initiative
Proposed Recipient: Wilson’s Mills Police Department

Purpose: The Town of Wilson’s Mills will use the funds to support the construction of a new police station in the center of Wilson’s Mills. The project is needed as the current facility is inadequate to accommodate the growing police force.

Purpose: The project will enable the town of Benson to construct critical water infrastructure upgrades necessary to support economic investments. In addition, these upgrades will strengthen the Town’s overall water system resilience and capacity, enabling continued industrial, commercial, and residential growth in Benson.

Purpose: NC State University will use funds to make needed upgrades to existing research station facilities. These include improvements to the irrigation system, seed dryer building, seed shelling and packaging building, long term cold storage research corn/soybean building, pesticide storage facility, fertilizer storage building and grain storage, add scales equipment for grain trucks and improve the research productivity of ARS and NC State scientists.

Purpose: Harnett County Government will use the funds to construct water mains and line extensions, and various connections. This project will assist in the development of a 730 acre industrial site.

Purpose: Harnett Regional Jetport will use funding to lengthen their existing runway by 495 feet and widen the runway by 25 feet. This expansion will significantly strengthen Harnett County's economic competitiveness, improve aviation safety, and enhance our ability to support military readiness and training operations.

Purpose: Piedmont Community College will use the funds to renovate and repurpose a 91,000-squarefoot industrial facility into the new South Campus, marking a critical investment in workforce infrastructure for rural North Carolina. This investment will expand access to workforce training in advanced manufacturing and skilled trades, accelerate credential attainment for students and adult learners, and respond directly to documented regional employer demand.
