Knott Votes to Pass President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Brad Knott (NC-13) voted to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, advancing the legislation to President Donald Trump’s desk to be signed into law.
“From my first day in Congress, I proudly worked with my colleagues in the House to get the One Big Beautiful Bill passed. Thanks to the President's leadership, House and Senate Republicans have prevented draconian tax increases and secured tremendous victories for the country. On national defense, homeland security, border enforcement, halting the horrible flow of illegal aliens into the country, and deporting dangerous criminal illegal aliens, this bill delivers for American citizens. For the working men and women of North Carolina and around the country, the tax code is now in your favor: no taxes on tips, social security, or overtime, and full expensing of factory and equipment reinvestment. The OBBB delivers this and more. We removed illegal aliens and able-bodied young people from the very programs designed to keep our most vulnerable citizens secure. Lastly, we achieved all of this while cutting $1.5 trillion in future spending. Because of this bill, our country will be more secure and prosperous. I commend President Trump for his leadership in getting it across the finish line,” Rep. Knott said.
